London, 5th January 2008: CNET Networks UK today announces record audience figures for its flagship consumer technology title, CNET.co.uk, re-affirming its position as the top consumer technology reviews website in the UK.

The independent audit, conducted by ABC Electronic in November 2007, reveals that CNET.co.uk has higher audience figures than ever before, with the number of page impressions rising by 156% since the last audit in November 2006, to reach more than 18 million per month. CNET.co.uk is the UK's leading consumer technology reviews website, offering help and advice to millions of people who are passionate about technology and who want to use consumer electronics to enhance their lives. The year on year growth has been driven by more users visiting the website as well as the existing audience reading more pages of content. Over the past year, CNET.co.uk's highly experienced and passionate editorial team has launched new content and site functionality - users can now access new forums to further engage with their peers in the CNET.co.uk community, as well as viewing compelling video content, including gadget reviews and a new section devoted to car technology.

Jason Jenkins, Editor of CNET.co.uk, says: "This audit confirms our leading position in the highly competitive consumer technology space. As more people beat the queues by shopping for consumer electronics on the Internet, trusted sites that provide expert advice on the best products are becoming increasingly important. CNET.co.uk continues to provide expert and unbiased news and reviews of the latest gadgets to hit the UK. Our huge growth is testament to the high quality and breadth of content on the site, together with our groundbreaking interactive resources."

According to comScore's MediaMetrix from October 2007, CNET Networks UK websites have over 30% reach into the total UK online population.
