CNET Networks UK today unveils the shortlist of finalists for its fifth annual Business Technology Awards (www.cnetnetworks.co.uk/awards/2007finalists), which recognise technology innovation, application and excellence in key sectors of the industry.
The CNET Networks UK Business Technology Awards have fast become the most sought-after industry accolade and this year CNET Networks UK is proud to introduce two new categories to the awards: Green IT Initiative of the Year recognising those companies working to combat the effects of climate change and carbon emissions; and IT Services Project of the Year recognising the successful project management and resulting achievements of companies going beyond the norm in this space. Both categories attracted many strong entries and the list of finalists includes big names such as IBM, Ricoh, Credit Suisse and ABN Amro.
