CNET Networks UK restructures Consumer Media Sales team to cope with growth
Parbinder Dhariwal promoted to sales director
Marcus Linehan promoted to sales manager
CNET Networks UK, the UK's biggest* online-only publisher, has restructured its consumer sales department to capitalise on a surge in online and multimedia advertising and sponsorships across its consumer websites CNET.co.uk and GameSpot UK
As part of the re-structure Parbinder Dhariwal has been promoted to sales director, consumer media overseeing both brands and responsible for a team of seven. Dhariwal joined CNET Networks UK as a senior account manager in December 2002 working in the business media team, he moved over to consumer media in 2005 to drive the commercial strategy for the launch of CNET.co.uk
Marcus Linehan has been promoted to sales manager, consumer media, responsible for four direct reports. He will continue to manage key clients including Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, EA (Electronic Arts).

CNET.co.uk has more than five times the number of unique users than its closest UK competitors' online editions combined – Stufftv.com, stuffmagazine.com (combined unique users 99,000**) and T3.co.uk (145,000**).
According comScore MediaMetrix, April 2007, CNET Networks UK websites attracted a 29% share of the total UK online population.
