CNET Networks UK, the UK's largest online-only publisher*, has signed British Airways as sponsor of its new 'wi-fi watch' website, atlarge.com.

atlarge.com is the world's first dedicated user-generated website that publishes unbiased and up-to-the-minute location reviews and reports about wi-fi hotspots for business travellers, written by business travellers.

British Airways is the exclusive sponsor on atlarge.com throughout May with its branding appearing across the site in banner ads. British Airways and atlarge.com co-branded adverts will also feature across CNET Networks' portfolio of business technology websites including silicon.com and ZDNet.co.uk.

The campaign, for British Airway's new Club World service, enables viewers to click on an ad and choose one of three short films to watch. Each film focuses on a Club World benefit such as space to work in peace, sleep in comfort, or being able to eat at anytime – all from the passenger's perspective.

Published by CNET Networks UK and managed by the award-winning editorial team at silicon.com, atlarge.com details wi-fi hotspots at every commercial airport across the globe. In time this will expand to major hotels, conference venues and other public areas country by country.

atlarge.com is a guide for travellers interested in wi-fi, 3G, connection charges or other connectivity issues. The website features user reviews and ratings on everything from locations and costs to ease of use, comfort, availability of power points or where travellers can get a decent cup of coffee while they catch up on email.

Tony Hallett, site director of atlarge.com, said: "atlarge.com is an essential destination for people who need to travel connected – business people who are travelling regularly. These people need to know where they can get online at the airport and whether there will be any issues or surprises that could affect their connectivity – and the people they trust most to get this information are their peers. This partnership is a perfect fit for British Airways as it enables them to connect with our engaged audience in a trusted environment."

According to comScore MediaMetrix, March 2007, CNET Networks UK brands, which include CNET.co.uk, GameSpot UK, ZDNet.co.uk, silicon.com and atlarge.com, attracts a 31 percent share of the total UK online population.
