CNET Networks UK, the UK's largest online-only publisher, has recorded record growth for two of its flagship websites, CNET.co.uk and silicon.com.

The first ABC Electronic audit for 18-month old CNET.co.uk, the online guide to personal technology and digital living, reveals 1,343,447* unique users generating 7,055,330 page impressions.

Launched in June 2005, CNET.co.uk has quickly become the number one source for expert product reviews and price comparisons on the latest technology developments, supported by special reports, help and how-to guides. The site features comprehensive video coverage and a vibrant community active through user opinions and forums.

CNET.co.uk has more than five times the number of unique users than its closest UK competitors' online editions combined – Stufftv.com, stuffmagazine.com (combined unique users 95,000**) and T3.co.uk (163,000**).

ABC Electronic has confirmed that silicon.com, the award-winning website for senior business decision makers, has more than three quarters of a million unique users following a 42 percent year-on-year increase to 752,838***. These users have sparked a 74 percent increase in page impressions to an all-time high of 4,073,521 – demonstrating the website's high level of user engagement.

Launched in 1998, silicon.com is the UK's award-winning online source for senior IT and business decision makers seeking to assess and understand how technology can drive their business forward. Its team of full-time journalists deliver top stories, breaking news, commentary and analysis of IT business matters.
