CNET.co.uk launches editors' choice awards
CNET.co.uk, the trusted, unbiased resource dedicated to helping consumers live the digital lifestyle, and a property of CNET Networks UK, today announced the CNET.co.uk Editors' Choice Awards.
Recognising the best in category, the awards aim to help consumers choose where to spend their gadget pound. CNET.co.uk will present fourteen awards ranging from Best Pocket Camera to Best Portable Radio. Visit www.cnet.co.uk/editorschoice to view the full list of categories. The winners will be singled out for their innovative features, outstanding value or brilliant ease of use - they will be the products that have changed how we think about a category.
To be eligible for the awards, products must have been reviewed on CNET.co.uk between 1 September 2005 and 1 September 2006. Each eligible product will be considered and the winners selected by CNET.co.uk's expert editorial team. Nominations for this year's awards will be announced on 4 September and the winners announced on 2 October.
Michael Parsons, Editor and Site Director of CNET.co.uk said: "It's great to see so much choice and innovation in the market for personal technology, but it can also be very confusing for consumers. The CNET.co.uk's Editors' Choice Awards will single out the products that are setting the standard for design, functionality and ease of use, and ensure that our readers get clear direction on where their gadget pound should go."
